150lb Spectra Guy lines 0.3g/m – 20m hank
At just 0.3g/metre, my spectra guy lines are nearly weightless! They are just a tenth of the weight of many standard guy lines, yet often just as strong if not stronger (~70kg/150lb breaking strain). I use these on all my tarp setups.
Stealth green will not show up your stealth camp site, and spectra take (double) knots pretty well and is much less slip-prone than Dyneema. Nylon guy lines tend to stretch when they get wet; spectra on the other hand does not. Spectra is a high strength fibre, often compared to Dyneema, it has a strength several times that of steel and does not stretch or absorb water.
Sold in 20m (22yrd) hanks, multiple quantities by default are made into one large hank. On one end of the cord, you will find a piece of DCF tape. Pull on this and the cord will come out of the hank cleanly without getting disorganised. Please don't pull the other end of the cord as things will descend into chaos.
