DCF Sawyer Mini/Micro/Squeeze Stuff Sack – 2g+
FILTER NOT INCLUDED / FILTRO NO INCLUIDO / FILTER NICHT ENTHALTEN / FILTRO NON INCLUSO / FILTRE NON INCLUS
A DCF stuff sack fitting your Sawyer water filter perfectly. A 2g filter lifesaver. Store your filter in this sack, and then slip it in your pocket to keep it warm.
Hollow fiber filters (e.g. Sawyer Squeeze) are awesome! The one problem is that if they freeze, the fibers shatter and bacteria, parasites etc. get into your water. Hmmm.
Solution? During my winter LEJOG hike, I stored my filter in this stuff sack and kept that in my jacket or sleeping bag 24/7. Body heat keeps it nice and warm, so my filter never froze, and still works!
Even if you don't hike in winter you can get freezing temps at any time of year, (especially at night) which could destroy your filter. It's a terrible feeling not trusting your filter, so store it in your pocket no matter the weather as an insurance policy. One hiker I know actually ruined 8 filters by letting them freeze in his pack, so storing your filter in your jacket pocket really is a good habit to get into.
Three sizes available! Sawyer Mini, Sawyer Micro, or Sawyer Squeeze. The Sawyer Squeeze sack should fit most other filters as well.

Important safety information
WARNING: This product is not a toy. Includes small parts. To avoid risk of suffocation or choking, keep this stuff sack away from babies and small children.
Waterproofing: The seams are fully taped so water cannot leak out through them, however water could leak through the drawcord opening. While this is unlikely to be much of an issue, you shouldn't store moisture sensitive items in the same pocket as a filter in this stuff sack. Give the filter a good shake before putting it in here to get rid of excess water.
