My British made belt pockets can be added almost any rucksack! They have a wide, YKK zippered mouth that can accept a standard smartphone, strong elastic loops and Siamese Slik clips allowing them to mount on pretty much anything, and they come in several awesome fabrics, including Dyneema and 100% recycled REPREVE polyester to reuse trash rather than create it.

Hip belt pockets are seriously useful. They allow you to keep all your gear and snacks accessible while on the move, meaning you never have to stop and rummage in your rucksack. You can store waterproof trousers in them, ready for surprise downpours, or a fistful of snacks.

To Mount

Slide the elastic straps over the hip belt and clip the slik clips in place at either end, or tie in in place using cord to save weight.

Fabric choices and Weights:
Weight is each. The two free slik clips add 7g:

200D REPREVE polyester – 19g: 100% recycled. Thick waterproof coating. Endurance weave. Tough, inexpensive, environmentally sound. It looks understated but there’s more than meets the eye.

XPAC LITESKIN LS07 – 17g: 70D ripstop nylon covered with an abrasion resistant resin coating. Very light, very hard wearing, carbon neutral.

XPAC VX07 HEXCAM– 22g: A 4 layer sandwich of endurance Nylon, PET film and Xply that looks and feels awesome. Orange HEXCAM camo. Carbon neutral.

2.92oz DCF – 17g: The legendary fabric of the thru hikers, forged in Arizona from the strongest fiber on earth: DARK DYNEEMA. Tough enough to make a backpack yet lighter than paper. Supercharged with 500XT of the fiber that breaks bullets. Fully waterproof, and now synthesised from plants.
